Hi, my name is Alex, I am a third year double diploma, Bachelor of Economics student at the University of Sydney and Sciences Po, with a double major in economics honours and econometrics. I have always chosen subjects which genuinely interest me, and put a lot of effort and passion into learning them, which allowed me to maintain a very high level of grades throughout my studies. Including a 42/45 score at my International Baccalaureate, and more recently a 95% score in econometrics (which is ten percentage points above the high distinction threshold).åÊ I am currently employed as a tutor teaching the intro econometrics course at the University of Sydney, which gives me insight into how the university courses are taught and graded. In this profession I am relying heavily on my experience of giving private lessons of maths, languages and economics for over 5 years, which is how I learnt to explain difficult concepts in a very simple and intuitive way. I know from my own experience that students often struggle to understand the subject, if their teachers go through the material too fast, and I am always very careful toåÊ avoid this mistake.åÊ The help which I can offer ranges from explaining the difficult concept which you encounter in your course, to helping you with your assignments to the extent allowed by your school’s policy.åÊ If you need help and find my offer interesting, please contact me on 0416617318 to arrange the first lesson.åÊ Best luck with your studies!åÊ Cheers,åÊ Alex Subjects: Calculus –åÊSecondary Economics –åÊTertiary Maths –åÊPrimary, Secondary Polish –åÊIntroduction, Intermediate, Advanced Experience: -> worked as a tutor helping children with English after lessons in a local primary school.åÊ -> gave private classes for 5 years.åÊ -> organised a Language Club in Sciences Po, in which students taught other students in exchange for being taught each the other student’s language.
