I am a qualified teacher living and teaching in the North Shore/Hills District of Sydney, offering tutoring solutions in Drama, English, History, Legal Studies, Literacy and Study Skills. I also offeråÊlearning styles assessments for those students who struggle to stay motivated and directed. I am currently employed in a comprehensive high school in the Hills district of Sydney. I offer in-home tutoring services and learning styles consultations anywhere in the northern suburbs or Hills district of Sydney. My rates vary depending on the travel required, and learning styles consultations are set at a different rate. I am qualified to teach secondary students, but can offer the learning styles assessments, consultations and advice to students from aged 8 to 18. When tutoring, I will ensure that sessions are tailored to your student’s individual needs and requirements. I provide individual worksheets where necessary, and ensure that I maintain a professional, but friendly, approach at all times. Usually, the first session is spent with your student discussing their issues and needs so that I can prepare future lessons. Occasionally, some extra work between tutoring sessions may be required, depending on the age and educational level of the student. For example, a Year 12 English or History student may be asked to write an essay between our sessions in order to prepare effectively for exams. I am passionate about encouraging students to achieve the best they can in their school education, and take a caring and empathetic approach. I look forward to meeting you very soon!
